ST juga menghadapi tekanan pembayaran cicilan mobil dan kesulitan finansial di tempat usahanya yang sepi, sehingga ia terpaksa mengambil beberapa pinjaman online. “Pelaku berada dalam situasi yang sulit, di mana ia harus ‘gali lubang tutup lubang’ dengan mengambil pinjaman dari beberapa lembaga keuangan,” urai Sadoko.

Sebelum kejadian pembunuhan itu, ST telah tiga kali meminjam uang dari RR. Pembayaran pinjaman pertama berjalan lancar, di mana ST membayar cicilan sebesar Rp 450 ribu sebanyak belasan kali. Namun, ST kemudian mengambil pinjaman kedua sebesar Rp 10 juta dan hanya mampu membayar dua cicilan dari jumlah tersebut.

“Pada pinjaman ketiga, nilai pinjamannya mencapai Rp 15 juta. Namun, RR meminta agar pinjaman pertama dilunasi terlebih dahulu, sehingga ST hanya menerima Rp 7 juta dan harus membayar cicilan kedua pinjaman sekaligus sebesar Rp 750 ribu per bulan,” papar Sadoko.

Menurut Kombes Syahduddi, baik Virgoun, PA, maupun seorang tersangka lainnya berinisial B, telah direkomendasikan untuk menjalani rehabilitasi. Hal ini didasarkan pada fakta bahwa mereka tidak terlibat dalam penyebaran narkoba kepada pihak lain. “Mereka lebih kami lihat sebagai korban dalam kasus ini karena tidak ada bukti penyebaran narkoba,” tegas Syahduddi.

Virgoun dan PA ditangkap pada Kamis (20/6/2024) dini hari dalam sebuah operasi penangkapan di kosan mereka. Pada saat penangkapan, polisi berhasil mengamankan beberapa gram sabu beserta alat hisapnya. Penyelidikan lebih lanjut mengungkap bahwa Virgoun mendapatkan narkoba tersebut dari salah satu kru bandnya.
